Orders

Orders

The Orders screen in the Sales module epitomises our vision to provide you with Omnichannel retail reporting designed with flexibility in mind. You can think of it as the Swizz Army Knife of retail reports, consolidating product and geographical Columns with the standard order information.

Customise

When you first arrive on the screen, it shows the purchased products by Date, in reverse chronological order, the number of Units Sold and the Sales revenue. This table of results is similar to the pivot tables in your spreadsheets. To change want's visible on the screen, you start by clicking on the Customise button. Here you can add and remove columns from the grid or rearrange their position in the table.

You can use the Display by control in the header to utilise the Date column differently. By default, the Date column will show Sales revenue by calendar date. If you swap the selection to Week, Month, Quarter or Year, you will witness the results roll up to give an aggregated view for the period.

To see the full range of available columns, check out the Columns in the Orders report page. There you will find descriptions for each column.

Filter

Filtering the results visible on the Orders screen is extremely easy. Start by clicking on the orange Filters button above the table to open a modal window. Next, you can choose to refine from a list of Products, Product Types, Brands and Countries. The Products drop-down menu has a helpful trick to save you time; you can type in a part of a Product Name, Product ID or SKU to restrict the results to one product or range of products.

Share

Spreadsheets are an inevitable part of any modern organisation. But they create uncertainty as the typical solution to version control is to modify the file name. As a result, you're probably frequently left wondering, am I looking at the latest version? Ignite by Acorn-i helps you avoid exchanging spreadsheets as attachments with the Share buttons on each screen. Instead, click the Share button to create a magic hyperlink to reopen Ignite with the same settings. Now copy and paste this link into an email or chat window to exchange the information with someone who has access to Ignite. It's that simple.
