What is a Monetary Value Segment?

A monetary value segment divides your customers based on the cumulative revenue generated by their orders. Once complete, you can analyse your customers based on those labelled Lowest Spenders, Average Spenders, High Spenders and Top Spenders.

Segment Definitions

An algorithm sets these segments dynamically by analysing the buying habits of the brand's customers and provides unique insights. Therefore, our approach segmentation doesn't have fixed boundaries, allowing Ignite to account for differences in purchasing behaviours observed across categories.

Lowest Spenders

The Lowest Spenders covers customers who've spent the least on the brand's products. They're also likely to have the lowest frequency and be recently acquired customers.

Average Spenders

This segment will highlight the typical amount spent by customers who've become frequent shoppers.

High Spenders

This segment will highlight the amount spent by loyal customers who habitually purchase the brand's products.

Top Spenders

Lastly, this segment covers those who've spent the most and have the highest lifetime value. These customers will likely champion your brand's products with friends and family.
